Holland Oto developed a miniature model of the new generation Citea from VDL Bus & Coach.
Over the past decade, VDL Bus & Coach has become one of the leading players in Europe in the field of e-mobility. Since the introduction of the first Citea SLF-120 Electric in Geneva, during the UITP Mobility & City Transport exhibition in 2013, VDL Bus & Coach has focused strongly on electric mobility.
Based on the VDL vision, a bus concept has been developed that is based entirely on an electric drive train and that is ready for the future, with zero emissions as a matter of course. Batteries in the floor, a one-piece composite side wall, clever energy management, a sophisticated climate control system and an ergonomic driver’s environment. With these 5 important innovations, VDL Bus & Coach is introducing the product range of the new generation VDL Citea, which consists of 4 improved length variants and 5 types.
During Innotrans 2022, VDL Bus & Coach has shown its new generation Citea to the public for the first time.
Holland Oto was allowed to develop a miniature model of this beautiful new bus.

As you may have heard, Holland Oto B.V. has as of today, 1St July 2021 taken over the brand weise-toys.
After a very pleasant takeover process, we are proud that this wonderful brand can be continued in the future, completely in the philosophy of Manfred Weise.

Holland Oto develops the first Ebusco scale model ever!
Ebusco focuses on the development, marketing and sale of fully electric city and regional buses. Their goal is to contribute to a better living environment by enabling reliable, sustainable, emission-free and affordable public transport. Ebusco is a pioneer and forerunner in the development of electric buses and charging systems.
At the beginning of 2021, the very first scale model of Ebusco will be launched on the market in collaboration with Holland Oto.
It concerns the Ebusco 2.2 e-bus, it will be released in 1:87 scale. Included are cameras, mirrors and a depot charger so that you can dress up the model according to your wishes.
Covid-19 turns the world upside down
Now that the borders are partially closed and events are being canceled en masse, it is a time of abandonment for many enthusiasts and collectors.
Where people normally went to fairs, club days and other meetings to view the newest, rarest or most luxurious miniature model, people are now often glued to their homes or looking online for the right models.
The organizers of the events also just don’t know what to do.
Although most events for 2020 have been canceled, preparations are already underway for 2021. Slowly but surely, the messages are coming out as to which events will take place in 2021 and in what capacity.

New look, trusted service and quality.
In 2019, Holland Oto B.V. exactly 25 years. Over the years, the company has acquired great fame in the broadest sense of the word, both nationally and internationally.
The almost unique situation, on the one hand manufacturer of miniatures and on the other hand distributor and saler of very prominent manufacturers of miniatures, is what makes our company so special. And last but not least, the acquired reputation for the high quality offered in products and in service to customers.
2019 was the start of change within Holland Oto. Vincent Nies, for example, made way for a new director (better known to customers as Bram Sevens) and plans were made for expansion in the workplace. The place previously occupied by Bram has been filled by Jos Schell. In addition to Jos, 2 more people joined our team, 1 in the marketing department and 1 in production.
Although Corona (Covid-19) has caused a small setback for many in the business world, at Holland Oto, in addition to the fresh breeze at the office, the look and feel have also been taken care of. The start was made for this at the beginning of 2020 and the look and feel of Holland Oto was gradually implemented.
For example, a new corporate identity has been developed and our website has been thoroughly overhauled. What has not changed, however, is the trusted quality and service that Holland Oto has to offer.
